Great, lazy Sunday.
I literally played TF2 all day, and I don’t regret anything. I played in some random server (pub-stomping…like 94:14 KDR on gold rush lol), played a few casual games in TheVille and the Fuck Yeah TF2 server, played a few pick-up games with Heating Up, and then practiced MGE with Damon. I also chilled in a trade server for no reason earlier (I made a profit of one weapon). Speaking of trading, my friend gave me a few items I’ve always wanted in TF2 in one fell swoop (Bill’s, buds, and an unusual). It’s quite overwhelming as I don’t normally receive gifts. Let’s just say… I’m extremely happy with that. :)
Anyway, it seems as if no matter how much I play TF2, I don’t know how to gauge where I stand in terms of “skill.” I guess I’m not the worst player, but there are days when I feel like I cannot play for shit. I play in pubs for fun, and I practice every now and then…but for what? To play more consistently in pubs? Hm…
I suppose I’m in a weird place where I can play adequately in pubs, but I’m not quite where I want to be whenever I play in a more competitive setting.
Either way, all I can do is improve.
It’s January, so I think I’ve been playing TF2 for almost a year, and I absolutely love this game.
Oh, I forgot to mention that while playing Badlands spire with Damon, I had the most clutch kill on him. We were both propelled up in the air above the spire, I had almost no HP left and as we were falling down, I landed a double air shot on him. ^___^
