EDM music has no more soul.

Never really was a huge fan, but I still recognized it’s multiple evolutions within these past couple years.

EDM music has gotten way too cheesy. Played out trance kicks and synthesizers, played out vocal hooks, and a drop. I’m being completely 100% honest when I say that all this type of music sounds exactly the same to me. Someone could play 10 EDM songs by 10 different artists and I wouldn’t be able to tell the difference. I think what’s scarier is that more and more people are craving for this type of music nowadays. Radio stations, clubs, commercials all fall for this cornball excuse for dance music. This whole scene has become trendy, overly saturated, and too predictable.

I don’t know how y’all do it.

It’s still a Daft Punk sample. I don’t know where he took the vocals from but it actually works well. I think what made me skeptical about it was:

generic dubstep noises
anticlimactic build up
“bass!” come on…

on top of it being really repetitive. But I’m not going to front, I enjoy listening to it so big ups to this guy.

I just know Daft Punk that when the real album drops, there will be no questions on its quality and authenticity.

My father used to tell me that whenever I played video games with my friends on my computer at home, that he loved it so much. He loved it because I would laugh loudly, and he had no trouble knowing how happy I was doing what I was doing. The fact that it brought him that much joy always sticks with me. Every game of dota, every round of tf2 where I find myself laughing or giggling like a maniac, it always makes me think of him and how much I can’t wait to hear my kids being happy.

7-Year-Old Zora Ball Is the World’s Youngest Game Programmer

The youngest person to create a full version of a mobile application video game. A first grader at Philadelphia’s Harambee Institute of Science and Technology Charter School, she’s already more accomplished than everyone you know.

Ball built the app in the Bootstrap programming language, and unveiled her game at FATE’s “Bootstrap Expo” at the University of Pennsylvania.

Apparently some grumpy olds were suspicious that her older brother was really the mastermind behind the program, but Zora showed them. When asked to reconfigure the app on the spot, Ball showed naysayers what was up when she executed the request perfectly.

“We expect great things from Zora, as her older brother, Trace Ball, is a past STEM Scholar of the Year,” said Harambee Science Teacher Tariq Al-Nasir. No pressure, baby geniuses, but there’s an entire world for you to save. Please hurry.

In case anybody is curious or needs an explanation, F.E.A.R stands for Focus Sash - Endeavor - Attack - Rattata. Try it out like this:

Enter a battle with any Pokemon (preferably a high-level Pokemon so that you’re more impressed) using your Rattata, equipped with a Focus Sash, as your starter. Use Endeavor. Because of its low level, the other Pokemon will attack first, leaving your Rattata with 1 HP (because of the Focus Sash). Rattata will then use Endeavor, which brings the enemy Pokemon’s health down to 1 HP as well. Then use Quick Attack, and watch your level 1 Rattata defeat a level 70 Lugia and gain like a zillion quadrillion experience points from it.

It won’t work against any Pokemon. Any ghost Pokemon is invulnerable to normal attacks. It also won’t work against anyone who is aware of this tactic, because he or she can use the time to buff their team instead which makes endeavor useless. Endeavor only has 5-8 PP, so it’s easy to wait out. Alternatively, it also won’t work against any Pokemon that has a high priority attack like quick attack (with greater speed) or extreme speed (higher priority). You can also use a move like trick of switcharoo if you have either on your team for some reason…

I always see posts like this as if it’s something new or OP, but it’s neither, and it’s extremely easy to counter. Best case scenario if you’re using F.E.A.R. is you exchange your Rattata for one of your opponent’s Pokemon, but then it’s still a 5v5 situation.

tl;dr: shit’s a waste of time because only scrubs would fall for it.
